Why is pinktooth.net exciting for you?
pinkTooth.net is an exciting organization to be a part of in that as women practicing dentistry full time, we often have tricks of the trade and gender we can share with each other. Some of my tricks include a instant dental template called SMILE-NOW available to share for increasing case acceptance. This technology has proven to not only get patients to say “YES” to case acceptance in a minute as well as recharge the entire team! Other tricks include a chart documenting systems available to share with others in small groups or large forums! We can all benefit from each others successes. I look forward to being able to share my knowledge and gain a strand of pearls myself.

Ann M. Bynum, DDS - Key Opinion Leader

Bio:
I have been happily practicing pediatric dentistry in my own practice now for 10 years. I share an office with my husband, who is a general dentist and therefore I feel we offer our patients the best of both a kid’s and an adult’s world. My favorite thing about coming to work is knowing who I am spending the day with. My team is amazing! If someone tells you that you can’t be friend with your employees, I think otherwise. Having a well put together team makes seeing the most difficult patient seem like a day at Disney World! My “second job” is speaking to groups of other dentists and employees about how to make a de-bunked office into a smooth sailing ship heading in the right direction.

Your Passion:
Pediatric dentistry (younger kids!), customer service, and team leadership/motivation.

Why is pinktooth.net exciting for you?
Could be a venue to help other women in our field. I learned from experience what a HORRIBLE team and office looks like and made a conscious decision to change it and no longer be a victim. When male doctors speak to employees they command respect and come off very authoritative, but often times when female doctors fill the same role we come off crabby, bitchy, or PMSing. Not a fair double standard and something I think we ALL could work harder on to break the mold.
